Features Rádio Povo - Sistema Pazzi
Rádios Povo FM is part of the Pazzi Communication System, presided over by its founder, businessman José Roberto Pazzi, who started the project in 1992, with Rádio Carioca AM, in the municipality of Feira de Santana/BA.
Since then, five more AM stations have incorporated the Pazzi System in the cities of: Poções (1994), Jaguaquara (1996), Ribeira do Pombal (1998), Jequié (1999) and Ubatã (2001).Fourteen years later, in 2006, all six stations were renamed and given the current name: Rádio Povo.
Following the idea of evolution, which is a registered trademark of the group, soon after the Federal Government announced, on March 12, 2014, the ordinance that regulated the migration from AM radio to the FM band, preparations were started in all stations of the system. With a high investment in modern equipment and documentation, the first grant was released to Rádio Povo de Jaguaquara 90.7 FM, still in 2016.
As a result, the migration of the stations of Jequié 96.3 FM, Poções 99.5 FM, Ribeira do Pombal 91.9 FM and Feira de Santana 103.7 FM, leaving only Rádio Povo de Ubatã, which already has a defined frequency (96.7 FM), but is awaiting authorization from the Federal Government to operate on FM.
